ESCORTS:
Klein Tours provides the accompaniment of
an Escort on most tours. Klein Escorts are dedicated
people who basically volunteer their time to provide
additional support to the passengers as far as comfort
and entertainment. Klein Escorts are not “Guides” because
even though they may be knowledgeable in some areas,
they cannot be expected to know details of all destinations.
GRATUITIES:
Included are all necessary tips to bellmen
and dining room personnel for meals included in the
motorcoach tour itinerary plus baggage handling. Gratuities
are not included on a Riverboat Cruise or Cruise Ships.
Gratuities to company drivers and escorts, because
of a personal nature, should be done individually on
a voluntary basis and not as an entire group. Customary
tipping guidelines are one dollar per person, per day.
BAGGAGE:
Baggage handling is provided and the cost
is included on all overnight tours. Passengers on overnight
tours are permitted one suitcase per person plus one
bag small enough to be placed under seat or in bus
luggage rack located above seats. We recommend the
purchase of baggage insurance and cannot be responsible
or assume any liability for lost or damaged luggage.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
We thank you for not smoking
on the coach or in the coach lavatory. Comfort stops
will be made at frequent intervals. No alcoholic drinks
are permitted on the motorcoach. In the interest of
both customer safety and comfort, intoxicated passengers
will not be tolerated.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizens entering Canada
require proof of citizenship, such as birth certificates
with a RAISED SEAL, passport or naturalization papers.
The Canadian Government will only accept originals.
IN ADDITION to those documents, you will need a driver’s
license. If you are not a U.S. Citizen it is your responsibility
to obtain a passport, visa, and any other requirements.
*If you are refused entry into Canada or back in to
the U.S., expenses for hotels and transportation will
be your responsibility and there will be no refund
for any unused portion of the tour.
If you plan to spend over $200 on qualifying goods
in Canada, contact the Tour Department at Klein’s
and we will supply a form for you to fill out and mail
in. You must receive sales receipts, which shows the
breakdown of GST in addition to your credit card receipt
for your purchases.
RESPONSIBILITY:
We act only as an agent in all matters
related to the tour, and are not to be liable for damage,
injury, loss or accident to person or to baggage or
other personal property. We reserve the right to make
itinerary changes, substitute accommodations, meals
and attractions of equal value. Entertainers and ticketed
shows are subject to change. We reserve the right to
cancel, or decline to book, any person by making a
full refund. For the safety and enjoyment of everyone,
we strongly recommend a child to be at least four years
of age to travel. There are no seat belts on the motorcoach
to secure an infant seat. All passengers will be charged
for transportation. Any passengers under the age of
18 must be accompanied by an adult.
