reservations, schedules are subject to change.
RESERVATIONS:
Advance reservations are required for all tours. Reservations received less than 14 days prior to
departure, payment must be received in cash, money order or credit card at the office. A $30 charge will be issued
for any checks that are returned to us by the bank.
MULTI-DAY:
Motorcoach tours, a deposit of $50 per person is due within 10 days of booking and the balance is
due six weeks prior to departure. Tours of a lengthy duration, tours with tickets, Cruises and Air tours, will
have deposits and payments that will vary with each tour. At time of reservations please specify preference
for a smoking or non-smoking room, which will be honored if possible by the hotel.
ONE DAY:
Motorcoach tours, full payment is due within 10 days after booking. Your address and phone where you can be reached must be given with reservation.
SEATING:
Seats are reserved on booking date with credit card payment and will be held 10 days pending receipt of cash or check. Your seat number will be indicated on your boarding pass. We reserve the right to change the assigned seats of odd number parties if the need arises or to accommodate a special needs person who is wheelchair dependent.
CANCELLATIONS:
If you are unable to attend as reserved, tour tickets are generally transferable to another person. We offer cancellation insurance at an additional cost. Our cancellation/refund policy is as follows:
ONE DAY MOTOR COACH TOURS:
Full refund will be issued for cancellations made prior to 30 days before
scheduled trip date less any non-refundable monies paid on your behalf (such as tickets, meals, etc.)
Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to scheduled trip departure date will receive a partial refund -–the
amount paid less a $10 service fee per person and less any monies paid on your behalf for tickets, meals,
attractions, etc. No refunds will be issued for trips cancelled later than 48 hours before the scheduled trip
departure.
MULTI-DAY MOTOR COACH,
CRUISE & AIR TOURS:
Motor Coach Refunds will be issued for cancellations
made prior to 30 days before scheduled trip departure date less any non-refundable monies paid on your behalf
(such as hotel, tickets, meals, etc.) Additionally, cancellations made 30 days or less prior to scheduled trip
departure date will be subject to a 15% service fee. Refunds cannot be made for non-refundable purchases
that have been made on your behalf. NASCAR, AIR and CRUISE cancellation policies are indicated on each
itinerary. No refunds will be issued for any trips cancelled later than 48 hours before the scheduled trip
departure.
Emergency Cancellations:
Klein’s will notify you if transportation is cancelled due to any
circumstances beyond our control which may compromise safe travel. You will receive a refund for the
transportation portion of your trip. Ticket purchases, meals, and hotel accommodations may not be refundable
depending on the policy of the vendor. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended to protect your
investment which must be purchased no later than 10 days prior to trip date. If the trip runs as scheduled and
you choose to cancel, Klein’s regular cancellation policy is in effect.
INSURANCE:
Klein Tours strongly recommends the purchase of cancellation insurance to protect your investment,
which must be purchased no later than10 days prior to trip date. “Travel Guard” ABA American Bus Association
Deluxe program is a reputable insurance specializing in motorcoach travel. Payment for the specific amount
according to the cost of the tour is payable to Klein Tours and your policy will be forwarded to you. Please
contact our office for information.
PRICES INCLUDE:
Sightseeing and admissions to attractions listed in the
itinerary. No refund for sightseeing, admissions or
meals if you do not take advantage of these activities.
Baggage handling is included on multi-day tours. Meals: Any
included meals will be specified on the tour itinerary.
Alcoholic beverages are not included unless specified.
Stops will be made at reliable eating establishments. Tickets
and Scheduled Entertainers are subject to change; this
is beyond the control of Klein Tours.
TOUR COACHES:
Our vehicles are clean, modern coaches equipped with air-conditioning, lavatory, reclining seats,
air-ride suspension, stereo, DVD, and public address system, all designed for the utmost in comfort. WiFi is
available upon request. A wheelchair lift motorcoach is available (advanced reservations required).
DEPARTURE TIME:
Time of departure will be as stated on boarding pass. We apologize for the fact that we will be unable to wait for late-comers. DESTINATION
DEPARTURES: Departures from tour destinations will be from site and at time stated by tour escort or driver. There will be no exceptions. We ask that passengers report at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.
ESCORTS:
Klein Tours provides the accompaniment of an Escort on most tours. Klein Escorts are dedicated people
who basically volunteer their time to provide additional support to the passengers as far as comfort and
entertainment. Klein Escorts are not “Guides” because even though they may be knowledgeable in some areas,
they cannot be expected to know details of all destinations.
GRATUITIES:
Included are all necessary tips to bellmen and dining room personnel for meals included in the
motorcoach tour itinerary plus baggage handling. Gratuities are not included on a Riverboat Cruise or Cruise
Ships. Gratuities to company drivers and escorts, because of personal nature, should be done individually on a
voluntary basis and not as an entire group. Customary tipping guidelines are one dollar per person, per day.
BAGGAGE:
Baggage handling is provided and the cost is included on all overnight tours. Passengers on overnight
tours are permitted one suitcase per person plus one bag small enough to be placed under seat or in bus luggage
rack located above seats. We recommend the purchase of baggage insurance and cannot be responsible or assume
any liability for lost or damaged luggage.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
We thank you for not smoking on the coach or in the coach lavatory. Comfort stops will
be made at frequent intervals. No alcoholic drinks are permitted on the motorcoach. In the interest of both
customer safety and comfort, intoxicated passengers will not be tolerated.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizens entering Canada require a passport. If you are refused entry into Canada
or back in to the U.S., expenses for hotels and transportation will be your responsibility and there will be no
refund for any unused portion of the tour.
RESPONSIBILITY:
We act only as an agent in all matters related to the tour, and are not to be liable for damage,
injury, loss or accident to person or to baggage or other personal property. We reserve the right to make itinerary
changes, substitute accommodations, meals and attractions of equal value. Entertainers and ticketed shows are
subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel, or decline to book, any person by making a full refund. For the
safety and enjoyment of everyone, any child that travels in a car seat will not be permitted on our buses. There are
no seat belts on the motorcoach to secure an infant seat. All passengers will be charged for transportation.
Any passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
